The First Padel Awards

The launch of the British Padel Awards marks a defining moment for the sport in the UK. For the first time, padel will have a dedicated national awards ceremony recognising the individuals, clubs and organisations driving its rapid growth and long term success.

As padel continues to expand across the country, the need to celebrate excellence within the sport has never been greater. The British Padel Awards have been created to honour achievement at every level, from elite performance and coaching to grassroots development, innovation and community impact. This inaugural event sets a new benchmark for recognition within the UK padel ecosystem.

The first British Padel Awards will take place on Saturday 16 May 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre, overlooking the River Mersey. The evening will be delivered as a black tie gala dinner and awards ceremony, welcoming approximately 400 guests from across the padel community and wider sports industry.

Bringing together players, coaches, club owners, brands, partners and supporters, the event will provide a platform for connection, celebration and inspiration. It will be a night designed to recognise success, share stories and strengthen the foundations of padel across the UK.

The awards represent more than just trophies and titles. They reflect the passion, commitment and hard work that has helped transform padel from a niche activity into one of the UK’s fastest growing sports. Behind every new court, league and club is a community of people investing time, energy and belief into the future of the game. The British Padel Awards exist to shine a spotlight on those contributions.

As the first awards of their kind in the UK, the British Padel Awards also play an important role in raising the national profile of padel. By showcasing excellence and professionalism across the sport, the event reinforces padel’s credibility and long term potential within the wider sporting landscape.

The inaugural British Padel Awards are not just a celebration of where padel is today, but a statement about where it is heading. They represent confidence in the sport’s future and recognition of the people shaping it.

This landmark event signals a new chapter for padel in the UK and sets the standard for how the sport will be celebrated for years to come.
